About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Hydro Tech Inc. as a key member of our safety and compliance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct workplace inspections and investigations to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to develop and implement safety procedures and protocols.
  • Review and update safety policies and procedures to ensure they are current and effective.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders to stay informed on changing regulations and best practices.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees on health and safety matters.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize workplace hazards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a health and safety role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective health and safety programs.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
