Hydro Tech Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign projects to subordinates and staff related to work safety, environmental safety, and accident prevention.
  • Direct staff and motivate them to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Provide information and training to employers, employees, and the general public on health and safety best practices.
  • Review HR directives to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Train staff on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards and investigate workplace accidents or illnesses.
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and advise senior management on any necessary actions.
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints related to health and safety.
  • Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Association for Canadian Registered Safety Professionals Certification.
