Position Overview:

The Logistics Dispatch Specialist plays a crucial role in effectively managing the resources necessary for field personnel assigned to various projects and crew transitions. This position supports the Director of Planning & Business Development by ensuring that qualified field personnel are dispatched appropriately for all ongoing and upcoming assignments, as well as crew changes. The individual must maintain regular communication with field staff and work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating excellent communication abilities. Recent experience in the oil and gas sector is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing Crew Lists & Dispatch Documentation
  • Coordinating Transportation Logistics
  • Overseeing Journey Management
  • Handling Incoming Job Requests
  • Addressing Field Staff Concerns

Field Personnel Assignment:

  • Collaborates with the Dispatch Team to assess staff availability.
  • Assists the Dispatch Scheduler in identifying, contacting, and arranging for the availability of adequately trained field personnel for all current and upcoming projects.
  • Communicates essential details to field personnel regarding pending assignments, including:
  • Required Dates
  • Travel Arrangements
  • Accommodation Details
  • Qualification Criteria
  • Necessary Documentation and Equipment
  • Any additional specifics related to the assignment
  • Ensures that field personnel's medical qualifications, driving licenses, and other industry certifications are current and suitable for the role.
  • Documents and communicates any performance issues of field personnel to the Director of Planning & Business Development.
  • Acts as the primary contact for field personnel inquiries related to scheduling, site-specific information, travel logistics, accommodations, and vehicle logistics.
  • Responds to inquiries from management regarding vehicle locations.

Transportation & Accommodation Coordination:

  • Utilizes fleet management software to monitor field personnel's transportation routes to ensure safety and effective journey management.
  • Tracks the status of all company vehicles.
  • Coordinates lodging arrangements for field personnel to guarantee safe and convenient accommodations during remote assignments.

Client Interaction:

  • As part of the Dispatch Team, receives calls for job requests, gathering and documenting necessary information on the Incoming Job Form, including:
  • Required Dates and Job Duration
  • Client Information
  • Consultant Name
  • Travel Logistics and Directions
  • Any additional job-specific requirements
  • Special Equipment Needs

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
