Logistics Coordinator

At Alberta Ltd, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper-Receiver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt and dispatch of goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Shipping and Receiving: Determine the most efficient method of shipment, prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents, and assemble containers and crates.
- Inventory Management: Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, maintain internal record-keeping systems, and record shortages and reject damaged goods.
- Warehouse Operations: Route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods to be shipped, and unpack goods received.
- Security and Safety: Ensure basic security clearance and undergo a criminal record check.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, and physically demanding tasks.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organized, reliability, and a team player.
- Will Train: We are committed to providing on-the-job training to ensure your success in this role.
- Permanent Position: This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek.
- Language of Work: English.
