Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper-Receiver to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt and dispatch of goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Shipping and Receiving: Determine the most efficient method of shipment, prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents, and assemble containers and crates.
- Inventory Management: Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, maintain an internal record-keeping system, and record shortages and reject damaged goods.
- Warehouse Operations: Route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods to be shipped, unpack goods received, and oversee loading and unloading of goods.
- Security and Safety: Ensure compliance with basic security clearance and criminal record check requirements.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a large workload, standing for extended periods, and handling heavy loads.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and a team player.
- Permanent Employment: Will train.
- Language: English.
- Hours of Work: 35 hours per week.
