**FULL-TIME HEAVY TOW DISPATCH POSITION - METRO TRUCK GROUP, HAMILTON LOCATION.**

The Metro Truck Group is a full-service center for all heavy truck and trailer needs. As our trusted brand continues to evolve, we are currently looking for a Heavy Tow Truck Driver to join our Metro Towing division of the Metro Truck Group of Companies.

As the **Heavy Tow Dispatcher**, you will be the critical link between our customers and tow truck operators. This role involves coordinating and dispatching heavy-duty tow trucks and recovery equipment to accident sites, breakdowns, and other emergency roadside situations. You will ensure timely and efficient service while maintaining constant communication with drivers, clients, and law enforcement agencies.

**Main Duties Include (but not limited to)**:

- Assign heavy-duty towing and recovery jobs to the appropriate drivers and equipment based on location, urgency, and availability
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, gathering relevant information, and providing clear communication on estimated arrival times and service details
- Maintain real-time communication with tow operators, customers, and any necessary external partners (police, insurance, etc.) to ensure timely and safe job completion
- Address and resolve operational challenges, such as rerouting vehicles, coordinating with repair shops, and adjusting plans based on road conditions or customer needs
- Ensure all jobs are accurately logged and completed with appropriate records for invoicing and service reports
- Work alongside Towing Manager to create on-call schedules, and related administrative tasks such as generating and processing invoices for completed tow and recovery jobs, ensuring all necessary information is documented
- Supportively work alongside department colleagues
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as set out by the Metro Truck Group of companies
- General house-keeping duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in towing dispatch or a related logistics/dispatching role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly convey instructions and provide updates to both drivers and customers.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in high-pressure situations.
- Able to handle emergency calls outside regular business hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Fluent in English.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from our Hamilton location.
