About the Role: The Relationship Banker I position is essential in delivering exceptional service to our Banking Center clientele. This role is pivotal in driving sales, enhancing customer satisfaction, and meeting operational objectives in alignment with Webster's strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries, utilizing available resources effectively.
• Assess client needs and recommend suitable financial products through insightful conversations to strengthen relationships.
• Execute routine banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Implement sales and retention strategies to support the Banking Center's growth and profitability goals.
• Strive to meet or exceed individual and team performance targets in sales, service, and operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies, maintaining high standards during audits.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in customer service and needs-based banking sales is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and extended shifts, may be necessary.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks.
• Comprehensive knowledge of banking products and services.
• Proficient in branch transaction processing systems.
• Strong customer service aptitude and a collaborative spirit to foster a positive workplace.

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is competitive and may vary based on factors such as experience and location. This role is also eligible for incentive compensation.
