Role Overview
The Client Relationship Banking Associate will deliver exceptional service to Banking Center clients while supporting the team in meeting sales, service, and operational objectives aligned with Webster's Strategic Guidelines. This position entails processing all customer-related financial transactions in compliance with the bank's regulations and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Address customer inquiries accurately and promptly, utilizing available resources and tools.
- Assess client needs and recommend suitable financial products and services through consultative conversations to foster and strengthen relationships.
- Conduct routine teller operations including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and other transactions.
- Achieve or surpass individual and team targets in sales, service, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to Federal and State regulations, as well as bank policies and procedures.
- Meet or exceed branch audit and operational evaluation standards.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; candidates with advanced degrees (Associates and/or Bachelor's) are preferred.
- Experience of 6 months to 2 years in cash handling and customer service; experience in needs-based sales and banking is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and extended hours, with potential travel to alternate Banking Centers.
- Self-motivated and proactive individual.
- Familiarity with all banking products and services.
- Stay updated with all systems utilized for branch transaction processing.
- Exhibit strong customer service skills and the ability to foster teamwork, contributing to a positive work environment.
