Position Overview

The Client Relationship Associate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to Banking Center customers while supporting the team in reaching sales, service, and operational objectives aligned with Webster's strategic framework. This role involves processing customer financial transactions in compliance with the bank's regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address customer inquiries promptly and accurately, utilizing available resources and tools.
  • Assess client needs and recommend suitable financial products and services through needs-based discussions to strengthen relationships.
  • Conduct routine teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
  • Strive to meet or exceed individual and team performance targets in sales, service, and operations.
  • Ensure adherence to Federal and State regulations, as well as bank policies and procedures.
  • Achieve satisfactory results in branch audits and operational evaluations.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required; candidates with advanced degrees (Associates and/or Bachelor's) are preferred.
  • 6 months to 2 years of experience in cash handling and customer service; experience in needs-based sales and banking is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and extended hours, with potential travel to different Banking Centers.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in approach.
  • Familiarity with all banking products and services.
  • Stay updated with systems used for branch transaction processing.
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills and foster teamwork to create a positive work environment.
