Job Summary

Chicago's Pizza Twist is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with our dietitian and chef to prepare special meals for patients as instructed.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to the highest standards.
  • Organize and manage buffets and banquets to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
