About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Agricultural Products Inspection Supervisor to join our team at Great Northern Hydroponics. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our agricultural products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and inspect samples from plants or products to ensure compliance with government regulations and company standards.
  • Enforce government acts and regulations related to agricultural products, ensuring that all products meet the required standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of agricultural products to detect any harmful diseases, chemical residues, or infestations.
  • Explain required standards to agricultural workers and ensure that they understand the importance of quality control.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and complete reports as required.
  • Investigate consumer and trade complaints related to agricultural products.
  • Take emergency actions, such as closing production facilities, if product safety is compromised.
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in agricultural products inspection or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of government regulations and standards related to agricultural products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
