Emil Anderson Construction is a leading heavy civil construction company in British Columbia, Canada. Our operations include road construction, asphalt paving, highway maintenance, site development, land development, and housing.

We are seeking a Paver Operator to join our paving team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating paving machines, ensuring the quality and smoothness of asphalt surfaces, and working collaboratively with the paving crew to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate paving machines to ensure high-quality asphalt surfaces
  • Collaborate with the paving crew to complete projects efficiently and safely
  • Ensure all work is done in accordance with company safety protocols
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of asphalt paving techniques and best practices
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve project goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in asphalt paving or a related field
  • Strong understanding of asphalt paving techniques and best practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project demands
