Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Paver Operator to join our Kelowna Paving team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating paving machines, ensuring the quality and smoothness of asphalt surfaces, and working collaboratively with the paving crew to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate paving machines to lay down high-quality asphalt surfaces
  • Ensure the smoothness and evenness of asphalt surfaces
  • Collaborate with the paving crew to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project success

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in paving or a related field
  • Strong commitment to safety and a zero-injury culture
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project demands

What We Offer:

Union wages and benefits, including an hourly wage of $34-$41
