Supervisor, Client Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our Client Services team at LifeLabs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our site locations in the Ladysmith, BC area.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Development: Attract and retain top talent, including hiring, onboarding, training, and managing performance of direct reports. Provide active leadership and development to ensure individual and team accountabilities are met.
- Scheduling and Time Management: Develop and approve employee schedules, sick time, vacation, and leaves to ensure compliance with operational needs and company policies.
- Service and Quality Standards: Deliver on service and quality standards, including patient wait times, accuracy, documentation, regulatory compliance, and health and safety.
- Workflow Management: Manage the implementation of workflow changes within sites, including identifying, implementing, and managing change.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify, implement, and manage continuous improvement initiatives in quality, safety, productivity, customer service, and staff development.
- Resource Management: Obtain the necessary resources, work collaboratively with peers and support groups, and participate in local leadership teams.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in healthcare, with leadership experience an asset.
- Skills: Phlebotomy skills, home care, and data sort experience required. Must be a self-starter and able to create a positive employee relations climate.
- Travel: Office time plus regular travel to assigned locations, client visits, and travel to surrounding regions to provide coverage.
