Senior Business Analyst, News Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our News Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our content delivery and media production workflows.
Main Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements and user needs through inclusive facilitation and discovery methods.
- Prioritize problems and opportunities according to capacity, resources, and benefits, and track progress to ensure deliverables are met.
- Configure and implement new tools and workflows using qualitative and quantitative data to meet business requirements and improve the user experience.
- Leverage metadata-driven workflows to improve content discovery and distribution.
- Support change management initiatives by ensuring users' needs and feedback are addressed.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and teams across the organization to ensure priorities are aligned and requirements are clearly defined and communicated.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Information Science or equivalent experience and training.
- Experience in change management and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of media production and publication processes in a news environment.
- Experience with structured metadata and metadata-driven workflows.
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to present business insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to create a collaborative working environment.
