Senior Business Analyst, News Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our News Operations team at CBC/Radio-Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business improvement initiatives and ensuring the successful implementation of new tools and workflows.
Main Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements through inclusive facilitation and discovery methods, leading to the development of effective solutions that meet the needs of our users.
- Prioritize problems and opportunities, tracking progress and escalating issues as necessary to ensure deliverables are met.
- Configure and implement new tools and workflows, leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to improve the user experience.
- Support change management initiatives by ensuring user needs and feedback are addressed.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and teams across the organization to ensure priorities are aligned and requirements are clearly defined and communicated.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Science or equivalent experience and training.
- Experience in change management and continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of media production and metadata-driven workflows.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and present business insights to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
