We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiological Technologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while operating radiological equipment with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety and well-being. You will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic procedures, including those requiring the use of ionizing radiation, while maintaining a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff.

About You- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology
- Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
- Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
- Previous experience is an asset
- Qualification to work in more than one Diagnostic Imaging modality is an asset
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Ability to use time effectively by organizing and prioritizing duties, while working independently and under minimal supervision
- Possess the physical capabilities to perform the duties of the position
- Demonstrates initiative, organizational and prioritizing skills; and the demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively within inter-professional teams
- Comprehension of the technical language in order to be able to review and use manuals and take part in relevant discussions
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- Long assignment full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
- Approximately 12 months
- Shift work required, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Stand by coverage may be required
$37.54 hourly
