Position Overview

Arrow Transportation Systems Inc., a reputable leader in the logistics and transportation sector, is seeking a dedicated Office Administrator to ensure the seamless and precise management of information pertaining to Accounts Payable and Payroll within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

The primary role of the Office Administrator is to ensure the effective and accurate flow of information related to Accounts Payable and Payroll. This includes adhering to established procedures and completing tasks in a timely manner using various software applications in line with accounting deadlines. The Administrator will also manage reception duties, office administration, and general clerical tasks.

Main Duties Include:

  • Processing and reconciling transactions related to accounts payable, payroll, and purchase orders.
  • Preparing and issuing financial documents such as invoices and inventory reports.
  • Auditing and ensuring accuracy of all payable information.
  • Conducting comprehensive reconciliations of various accounts.
  • Adhering to all regulatory protocols and internal metrics.
  • Generating reports and analyses as required.
  • Managing HR-related paperwork and ensuring proper filing.
  • Maintaining organized files and streamlining office processes.
  • Ordering supplies and coordinating equipment servicing.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Performing clerical tasks including word processing and record maintenance.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Responding to inquiries and providing general information.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety policies and identifying potential hazards.
  • Assisting with operational administration as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting processes including Accounts Payable and Payroll.
  • Relevant post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Strong keyboarding skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Dependable and accountable with a strong work ethic.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
