Position Overview

Amaris Consulting is seeking skilled professionals to enhance our Life Sciences division. Your expertise and dedication will be instrumental in addressing the challenges faced by our clients.

In this role, you will leverage your knowledge as a Pharmaceutical IT Business Analyst to support various initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical sector workflows, compliance standards (e.g., FDA regulations), and supply chain intricacies to facilitate effective business analysis and enhancement.
  • Skilled in gathering, documenting, and evaluating business requirements for pharmaceutical initiatives, including drug development, management of clinical trials, regulatory adherence, and pharmacovigilance.
  • Proficient in assessing, selecting, and deploying software solutions tailored for the pharmaceutical industry, such as EDC systems, LIMS, and ERP platforms.
  • Expertise in data modeling, mapping, and analytical techniques that support informed decision-making in drug discovery, clinical research, market evaluation, and sales forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to pinpoint inefficiencies and recommend strategies to optimize operations, minimize expenses, and enhance productivity within pharmaceutical business functions.
  • Well-versed in compliance requirements and industry benchmarks, including GCP, GMP, and ICH guidelines, with the capability to evaluate and mitigate risks associated with regulatory non-compliance and data security vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Life Sciences, or Information Technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the pharmaceutical sector, showcasing a robust understanding of industry-specific workflows, regulations, and challenges.
  • Proven experience in successfully gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements for pharmaceutical projects, particularly in drug development, clinical trials, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in evaluating, selecting, and implementing pharmaceutical-specific software solutions, including EDC systems, LIMS, and ERP systems.
  • Advanced skills in data modeling, mapping, and analytical techniques, utilizing tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization software.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities, with a talent for collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and achieving consensus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sharp focus on identifying inefficiencies and proposing innovative solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of compliance requirements and industry standards in the pharmaceutical field, including GCP, GMP, and ICH guidelines, with an emphasis on risk assessment and mitigation.
