Position Overview

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will provide comprehensive support for all human resources functions, ensuring effective administration of policies and procedures across the designated facility. This role acts as a strategic collaborator with local leadership to enhance business outcomes and improve talent management, retention, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with site leadership to enhance business performance, develop innovative solutions, and foster a safe and inclusive workplace.
  • Oversee the implementation of talent management processes, focusing on coaching, talent development, succession planning, and individual development plans.
  • Collaborate with regional and site leaders, as well as the Talent HR center of excellence, to formulate and execute effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Educate stakeholders on the company's compensation framework and philosophy, ensuring alignment with pay-for-performance practices across the region.
  • Conduct investigations at the site level and provide guidance to senior management on resolving employee relations and disciplinary matters in coordination with the Regional HR Business Partner or Area HR Director.
  • Recruit, train, lead, and develop a team of HR professionals, emphasizing continuous improvement in talent capabilities and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements related to human resources functions, while maintaining an understanding of collective bargaining agreements when applicable.
  • Analyze data related to absenteeism and turnover to promote data-driven enhancements in processes.
  • Support the smooth administration of payroll and benefits issues at the site level, including leave management.
  • Communicate and implement corporate HR initiatives effectively across assigned sites.

Additional Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, or a related field; or equivalent HR training or certifications.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Intermediate knowledge of HR legal and compliance matters.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to navigate ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% as required.
