About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Amica Senior Lifestyles. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify changes in resident condition and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current registration and good standing with the BCCNM.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
  • Previous experience working in long-term care/assisted living environment considered an asset.
