Position Overview
This role encompasses a permanent full-time position, requiring a commitment of 75 hours bi-weekly. The selected candidate will contribute to the establishment of a 12-month eligibility list for similar roles.
About Our Organization
The Government of Yukon is dedicated to delivering exceptional Primary Health Care services to the residents of Yukon. We aim to empower individuals and families to achieve and sustain optimal health through a range of treatment services, health education, promotional initiatives, disease prevention, and personalized counseling. Our Telehealth Network Program is integral in addressing the needs of patients, healthcare professionals, and communities across Yukon.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We seek an individual capable of developing educational materials for users and rural Telehealth site coordinators. The perfect candidate will possess expertise in designing, enhancing, compiling, and analyzing databases to furnish telehealth statistics as requested by various governmental bodies. Furthermore, the individual must exhibit confidence, composure, responsiveness, and approachability in interactions with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Essential Qualifications

- Educational background in Business Administration and/or Information Technology;
- Experience in leading, coaching, or mentoring staff;
- Proven experience in managing or supporting telehealth initiatives;
- Extensive customer and client service experience.
Candidates with education and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications may also be considered.

- Proficient understanding and utilization of computers and software;

- Commitment to providing outstanding client services.
Employment Conditions
- Possession of a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
Job Responsibilities
This position requires the ability to perform and/or be exposed to the following:
- Lifting items weighing up to 25lbs unassisted and up to 60lbs with assistance;
- Exposure to dust, animals, flowers/plants, and environmental allergens in certain situations;
- Travel within Yukon as necessary;
- Utilization of stairs;
- Bending, lifting, and kneeling as part of job duties.
