Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Housing Programs Manager. This is a permanent, full-time position that will play a critical role in ensuring effective management of community housing units across 14 communities in the Yukon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support a team of housing operations staff to ensure fair and equitable services to Yukoners throughout the territory.
  • Oversee the administration of rent subsidy programs designed to help low-income clients with the high cost of housing.
  • Develop and implement strategies to create a safe, supportive, and well-managed environment and community for all tenants.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners and stakeholders to build relationships and achieve shared goals.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Social Work, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in leading, managing, coaching, and fostering a cohesive and dynamic team.
  • Experience in analyzing, interpreting, organizing, and presenting data and information for a variety of audiences.
  • Experience managing financial resources, including budgeting, forecasting, and implementing financial controls.
  • Experience working with diverse client groups, preferably with vulnerable populations, including work experience in mediation and conflict resolution.
