About the Role

The Business Development Executive position is a key role within our organization, responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic outreach, opportunity identification, and proposal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify leads and conduct client prospecting to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to promote our services and build brand awareness.
  • Research and evaluate new market opportunities to identify potential growth areas.
  • Lead the proposal development process, including researching and qualifying RFP/RFQ opportunities.
  • Maintain and update our CRM system to ensure accurate and efficient tracking of leads and opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders to promote our services and build relationships.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) on a regular basis to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction market dynamics, trends, and competition.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, designers, and construction management firms.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop and implement business development strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel for trade shows, conferences, and client meetings.
