Join Our Team as a Youth Support Specialist

Ranch Ehrlo Society is seeking two enthusiastic, energetic, and positive individuals to become part of our team as Youth Support Specialists. In this role, you will provide essential care and assistance to vulnerable individuals facing complex needs, behavioral challenges, developmental disabilities, mental health issues, and other related concerns.

As a Youth Support Specialist, you will be actively involved and fully engaged in all aspects of the group living experience for children, youth, and/or adults. Your role will include providing care, support, and positive role modeling. You will work diligently to ensure that participants have a safe, nurturing, predictable, and structured living environment. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in implementing participants' treatment plans and addressing their emotional and physical needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of experience working with children, youth, and/or adults facing behavioral, cognitive, mental health, and/or developmental challenges.
  • Completion of a high school diploma. A certificate, diploma, or degree in child and youth care (CYC) or a related field is advantageous.
  • A current criminal record background check that meets policy guidelines.
  • A valid class 5 novice 2 or higher driver's license, eligible for coverage under our commercial auto insurance policy.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
