Position Overview:
As a dedicated Youth Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing care and assistance to individuals facing various challenges. Your responsibilities will include engaging with participants in a supportive manner and ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in the daily living experiences of children, youth, and adults in a group setting.
  • Implement treatment plans tailored to the needs of participants, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Model positive behaviors and provide guidance to promote personal development.
  • Engage in community activities, encouraging participants to explore interests such as sports, arts, and outdoor adventures.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals facing behavioral, cognitive, or developmental challenges.
  • High school diploma required; additional qualifications in child and youth care or related fields are advantageous.
  • Must possess a valid criminal record check that complies with organizational policies.
  • Valid Class 5 novice 2 or higher driver's license is required.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
