Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support our operations at Motion Fitness. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Term: Permanent

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience

Core Duties
  • Organize and coordinate seminars, conferences, and related events.
  • Manage and oversee budget and expenditures effectively.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new employees.
  • Document and prepare minutes for meetings and conferences.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently.
  • Handle telephone communications and relay messages appropriately.
  • Respond to electronic inquiries and provide necessary information.
  • Compile and analyze data, statistics, and other relevant information.
  • Address employee inquiries and resolve complaints.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and inventory.
  • Arrange travel plans, itineraries, and reservations.
  • Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate contacts.
  • Type and proofread various documents and correspondence.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain and manage digital databases effectively.
  • Execute basic bookkeeping responsibilities.
  • Oversee office and volunteer staff operations.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily office activities.
Supervision

Supervise a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.
