**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically capable Snowmaker to join our team at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. As a Snowmaker, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating our snowmaking system, ensuring that our slopes are always in top condition for our guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain and monitor the entire snowmaking system, including pumps, hoses, and snow guns
  • Shovel and clear ice from slopes and trails
  • Roll and pack hoses to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform general labor tasks as needed to support snowmaking operations
  • Keep accurate records of snowmaking details, including system performance and maintenance
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by management

**Requirements:**

  • Physical capability to perform demanding outdoor work in winter conditions
  • Ability and desire to work outdoors in a mountain environment, including day and night shifts
  • Self-confidence, reliability, and ability to work independently
  • Ability to drive a snowmobile (asset)
  • Capability to work varied, round-the-clock shifts
  • Prior experience in a related field (asset)
