About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at RONA Inc. This is a key position that will play a critical role in optimizing our inventory levels, reducing costs, and improving inventory control processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data-driven inventory methods to ensure efficient inventory management and cost effectiveness.
  • Manage up to $300 million of inventory at all sites, ensuring inventory accuracy and vendor compliance.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Merchandising teams to drive performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Mentor and monitor supervisor's performance, setting them up for success and achieving key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in inventory management, with a strong emphasis on financial aspects.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a team leader, with experience in managing large teams and inventory control processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage financial data for informed decision-making.
  • Experience creating and managing budgets, with a proven track record of optimizing inventory levels and reducing costs.
