About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Rona Inc. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective inventory management strategies to optimize our distribution centers' operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Planning and Management: Develop and implement data-driven inventory management methods to ensure accurate and efficient inventory levels.
  • Cost Savings and Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to reduce costs and improve inventory control processes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of inventory control specialists and supervisors to achieve inventory management goals and objectives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Finance, and Merchandising, to ensure effective inventory management and cost control.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure inventory management performance and provide regular reporting to senior management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in inventory management, with a strong emphasis on financial aspects and team leadership.
  • Certifications: Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM) or a relevant finance certification (e.g., CPA, CMA).
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage financial data for informed decision-making. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
