Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at RONA Inc. in Boucherville, Quebec. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring an optimal level of inventory for product categories and stores under your responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the planning and execution of marketing strategies for categories under your responsibility
- Define and maintain replenishment parameters in line with the corporate inventory management strategy while supporting marketing initiatives for products under your responsibility
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal partners to develop strategies
- Ensure excellent collaboration with business partners responsible for merchandising
- Coordinate various activities with stakeholders
- Analyze and monitor performance indicators (level of products in stock, accuracy of sales forecasts, turnover rate, inventory budget, dashboard, product status, etc.)
- Participate in a collaborative cycle of review and planning of sales, inventory, and supply (S&OP/CPFR)
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in operations management or a related field
- 1 to 4 years' related experience, preferably in demand planning and stock management
- Proficiency with computer tools such as MS Excel and databases
- Good knowledge of JDA (an asset)
- Analytical skills in order to formulate recommendations
- Well-developed business acumen and sense of urgency
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
- Organizational skills, thoroughness, self-direction, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Familiarity with the retail industry and/or distribution (an asset)
