About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at RONA Inc. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels, reducing costs, and improving inventory control processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data-driven inventory management strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce costs.
  • Manage and analyze inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective inventory management and minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory.
  • Monitor and report on inventory performance metrics, including inventory turnover, stock levels, and costs.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve inventory management processes and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in inventory management, with a strong emphasis on financial aspects.
  • Proven track record of optimizing inventory levels, reducing costs, and improving inventory control processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage financial data for informed decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other inventory management software.
