About the Role

The Ottawa Department of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead the Canadian National PET Centre. This is a unique opportunity to join a renowned institution and contribute to the advancement of cardiac imaging and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of physicians, imaging scientists, nurses, and technologists to ensure excellence in cardiac imaging and research.
  • Develop and implement strategies to advance the centre's clinical care and research initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Cardiac Imaging Program to integrate PET imaging with other modalities.
  • Secure funding through peer-reviewed grants and industry partnerships to support research initiatives.
  • Ensure high-quality imaging and research output through quality control and quality assurance processes.
Requirements
  • FRCPC certification in Cardiology (or equivalent).
  • Level 3 fellowship training in Nuclear Cardiology.
  • Member of the Canadian Medical Protective Association (or eligible to join).
  • Eligible to practice medicine in Ontario.
