Job Title: Director of Cardiac Imaging

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Cardiac Imaging to lead our multidisciplinary team at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality cardiac imaging services, as well as contributing to the growth and development of our research initiatives.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of imaging scientists, nurses, and technologists to ensure ongoing excellence and growth in cardiac imaging.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of cardiac imaging services.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to advance the field of cardiac imaging and improve patient outcomes.
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to support the growth and development of the PET Centre.

Requirements:
  • Hold FRCPC certification in Cardiology (or equivalent).
  • Have Level 3 fellowship training in Nuclear Cardiology.
  • Be a member of, or be eligible to be a member of, the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
  • Be eligible to practice medicine in Ontario.
