Health Information Management Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Health Information Management Director to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of health information management strategies that support high-quality patient care and improve health outcomes.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in health information management, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a healthcare environment. You will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the development and implementation of health information management strategies, policies, and procedures. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to health information management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of health information management strategies that support high-quality patient care and improve health outcomes.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to health information management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to health information management.
- Lead a team of professionals in the development and implementation of health information management strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of health information management activities.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health and dental benefits, a municipal pension plan, and four weeks of vacation. We also offer financial support for moving expenses and a competitive salary range of $116,591 to $145,739.
