Lead the Culinary Team at Sun Peaks Resort

Are you a seasoned chef looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a talented Kitchen Manager to join our team at Sun Peaks Resort. As a leader in our kitchen operations, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food production, health and safety, and sanitation. You'll work closely with our culinary leadership team to develop and execute menus, train staff, and maintain a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient food production and high-quality dishes
  • Develop and implement menu plans, including seasonal specials and daily menus
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the culinary leadership team to plan and execute special events and promotions
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience in a kitchen management role
  • Red Seal Certification or degree in Culinary Arts
  • Food Safe Level 1 Certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy loads
