Position Summary

We are currently seeking a full-time Loader Operator to join our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently load materials from stockpiles to designated areas and vehicles.
  • Operate a wash plant with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Handle all heavy machinery responsibly and in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections on equipment.
  • Perform pre-operational checks, ensuring equipment is clean, lubricated, and adequately filled.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work facilities.
  • Position heavy equipment for optimal loading and unloading.
  • Adhere to and promote the principles outlined in the company safety program.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Proven capability to work autonomously while fostering a positive and safe work environment in collaboration with team members.
  • Awareness of occupational hazards and adherence to safety precautions.
  • Experience performing routine maintenance on equipment, including lubrication and cleaning.
  • Possession of a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs or more and work in various weather conditions, including confined spaces and heights, while utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • First Aid and WHMIS certifications are advantageous.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.

Employment Terms: Seasonal full-time position with potential for overtime and weekend work as needed.
