About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Cloud Projects Manager to join our team at KPMG Canada. As a key member of our Enterprise Solutions Oracle team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Oracle Cloud Projects implementations and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Oracle Cloud Projects implementations from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to design and implement Oracle Cloud Projects solutions that meet client needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct requirement gathering workshops, manage conference room pilots, and drive user testing and training workshops to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Design and implement solutions to drive business-led technology-enabled transformations, leveraging Oracle Cloud Projects capabilities.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, partners, and customers to identify and address Oracle Cloud Projects-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of client deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Manage and work in teams, including international teams, to deliver high-quality results.
  • Coordinate with the Advisory team to formulate innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Work closely with Business Systems Analysts, Developers, Architects, Managers, and Implementation Partners to determine scope of work, plan resource allocations, and determine criteria for successful Oracle implementation.
  • Lead projects, ensuring adherence to established project methodologies, standards, tools, processes, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • A degree in Business Administration, Finance/Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required.
  • 5+ years of prior experience in managing teams, Oracle Cloud Projects implementations, administration, configuration, or functional support roles is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle PPM cloud offerings, such as Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Control, and Grants Management.
  • Strong understanding of integrations with other modules, such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Expenses, Inventory, and Procurement.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with finance professionals, administrators, HR teams, finance teams, IT support staff, and end-users to address Oracle finance-related inquiries, issues, and requests.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving Oracle Projects-related issues, discrepancies, and system errors in a timely manner.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity of Oracle Finance data and information, adhering to data security and privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with stakeholders, articulate technical concepts, document processes and procedures, and provide user training and support.
  • Fluency in English is required (French is an asset).
