About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Project Manager to join our Enterprise Solutions team at KPMG Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of various projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of quality work that meets client requirements and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of projects, including Oracle ERP implementation, upgrade, and support projects.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of client deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain standard project documentation, including project plans, agendas, lists of tasks, and deliverables.
  • Manage resources effectively, including onshore and offshore teams, to ensure adequate staffing levels and skillsets to meet project needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring that projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
  • Proactively work with project teams to create and maintain the Risk Register, Issues Log, Actions, and Decisions.
  • Generate regular reports for senior management and clients, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and impacted parties are appropriately engaged.
Requirements
  • Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials.
  • Postgraduate degree and/or a professional designation is a strong asset.
  • PMI certification is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager, functional lead, or technical lead for projects to implement, upgrade, and support Oracle ERP or other ERP solutions.
  • Cloud computing experience is a strong asset.
  • Experience in different roles at different stages of HCM product implementation projects is a strong asset.
  • Proven experience using project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Clarizen, etc.
  • Good team player able to manage conflict in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Solid organizational skills, good respect for others, and ability to adapt to change.
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills (English and French, preferably).
  • Support business readiness and change management activities prior to going live.
