Fibretech Distributors Inc. Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Fibretech Distributors Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks and optimize warehouse operations.
  • Organize and assign tasks to team members to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Oversee operational logistics of the warehouse, including inventory management and supply chain coordination.
  • Co-ordinate activities with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and submit reports on warehouse performance and operations.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and train staff in duties and policies, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure high-quality results.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
