About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Mark Wong. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Tasks: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, as well as with light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Provide Companionship: Offer companionship and social interaction to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to our clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Shop for Essentials: Assist clients with shopping for food and household supplies, ensuring they have access to the items they need.
  • Provide Transportation: Assist clients with transportation to appointments and other activities, as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
