About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Shelina Harji. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients.
  • Companionship: Provide companionship and social interaction to clients.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks such as laundry and linen management.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate.
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work under pressure.
