About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Kindertots Child Care Centre. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development Support: Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Program Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Child Care and Supervision: Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, and supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers.
  • Communication and Reporting: Synthesize the overall situation of the children and communicate the information to parents, and submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Centre Operations: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records, order supplies and equipment, and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, and a certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of licensing regulations, first aid and CPR certification, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.
