Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Kindertots Child Care Centre. As an Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities and care of our children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that promotes their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assess the children's development in order to prepare a learning plan tailored to their needs.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements:
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
