About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Michelle Broqueza. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and companionship to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and exercise.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, including administering first aid and CPR as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move clients with care, with a weight range of 45-60 kg (99-132 lbs).
