Business Analyst II Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst II to join our team at the City of Kamloops. As a Business Analyst II, you will play a critical role in analyzing and improving business processes and outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in gathering, analyzing, and communicating business requirements, while designing and implementing IT solutions that meet our organizational needs.

This position requires strong collaboration and communication skills, as you will work closely with various stakeholders, vendors, and team members to ensure the quality and usability of IT solutions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze business requirements to inform IT solution design
  • Design and implement IT solutions that meet business needs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solution quality and usability
  • Communicate business requirements and solution designs to various audiences
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in Information Technology, Business, Sciences, or Engineering
  • Minimum four courses in Business Analysis or Project Management Certificate Program
  • Minimum three years' experience in Business Analysis with enterprise applications
