Job Title: Business Technology Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Technology Analyst to join our team at Dawson Group. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining our information systems to ensure they meet our business requirements and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement through technology solutions
  • Support the delivery of our IT strategic plan, moving our systems to a simplified business environment
  • Assist with the implementation of a new maintenance management system and financial system/ERP software
  • Develop digital software solutions and automation scripts using low-code platforms
  • Administer, sustain, and enhance existing business systems to respond to bug reports and evolving user needs
  • Provide deskside support for our staff and quality assurance to ensure developed software and systems integrations are behaving as intended
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Computing Science or related discipline
  • 2-4 years of software and/or systems development experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with maintenance management or accounting software platforms
  • Experience with Python, Javascript, or related scripting/development languages
  • Knowledge working with databases and building reports/dashboards using a Business Intelligence platform
