Dawson Group is seeking a skilled Business Technology Analyst to analyze, design, develop, and maintain information systems that meet our business requirements and improve operational efficiency. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gain an understanding of existing road maintenance business processes and systems, then identifying opportunities to improve them through technology solutions. The successful candidate will support the delivery of IT's strategic plan, moving DRM to an increasingly simplified business systems environment for all workers. Key responsibilities include assisting with the implementation of an incoming maintenance management system, upgrading Dawson Road Maintenance systems onto a new platform, and developing digital software solutions and automation scripts using low-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform. Additionally, the candidate will administer, sustain, and enhance existing business systems, provide deskside support for Dawson Road Maintenance staff, and apply problem-solving skills and tools to diagnose and solve business challenges with technology. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Computing Science or a related discipline, 2-4 years of software and/or systems development experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience working with maintenance management or accounting software platforms, as well as knowledge of databases and business intelligence platforms, is also desirable.
