Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our Sales team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling new products, applications, and value-added products and services in a geographical territory to an existing and new customer base.
Key Responsibilities- Sell new products, applications, and value-added products and services to existing and new customers in a geographical territory.
- Identify, execute, and quantify value actions and projects to ensure the success of the customer base and Sealed Air.
- Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans to provide a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
- Develop, maintain, and grow the territory of both established and new customers.
- Coordinate the efforts of a sales support team for this territory.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience in selling high-performance value-added products.
- Experience in packaging and/or fresh food packaging is preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of success in increasingly progressive sales positions.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills in interacting with customers, internal support organizations, and field support groups.
- Solid financial business acumen including analytical skills for tenders, budgets, and customer sales agreements.
- Strong computer skills in SAP (or a similar ERP system) Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM systems.
- Ability to effectively work in a large Company within a matrix organizational structure.
- Commercially competent, with the capability to be involved in negotiating customer contracts for major accounts.
