Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Guidance and Coaching: Provide expert advice and coaching to business leaders on HR best practices, UFA policies, and programs to enhance employee engagement and organizational performance.
  • Talent Development and Acquisition: Collaborate with hiring managers to interpret compensation analysis data, complete job descriptions, determine job requirements, and targeted pay banding to attract and retain top talent.
  • Employee Relations and Support: Provide guidance and operational support to management, employees, and other HR team members to effectively address workplace issues, including workplace investigations.
  • HR Process Improvement: Conduct research and provide recommendations to enhance or streamline HR processes, procedures, and practices.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Leverage reporting and data to analyze and identify people issues and trends within the assigned client group, participating in their resolution.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Partner with HR team members to monitor and implement new or revised policies, programs, and services to meet current and evolving needs of the business.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in business or human resources.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in HR Advising and/or Business Partnering, Employee Relations, and/or Performance Management.
  • Skills: Above average relationship building, influencing, and creative/critical thinking skills. Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems, making informed decisions, and the initiative to formulate a plan for resolution.
  • Certifications: Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) is a preferred asset.
